First day of school 07-08

Ok - I had a really hard time this day... maybe this year will be easier. I can remember spending breakfast with my friends at Crackers - and crying most of the day. Shelby is gone - all day - for the first time. It never really hit me with the other kids just how long a school day really was. Now, its June, and boy, do I wish school was in! LOL! Just kidding - I am really enjoying being with the kids just that little bit more - and watching them change and grow and become such independent PEOPLE - who ever thought they would actually become people?? :)
G - my man - always trustworthy and mostly responsible... Emmy - you're a fish! Nater - my Marine; My protector. Shelby - Gym-nasty! You're becoming quite the little gymnast, with the additude to match! ;) Lucky you're so dang cute, you almost get away with it. I love you guys. You make me prouder every day.

Sea World 2007

We took an amazing trip to San Diego last year with the Treseder's - our kids can't wait to go back! Check out Shelby's face on their FIRST EVER rollercoaster ride!! Ferg was feeling a little yuck, so he held Trinity while we all braved the Journey to Atlantis ride.

Playing Catch-up

I guess since I've been working, there's alot to catch up on. I love spying on my friends' blogs to see what is going on in everyone's lives - and what their kids are up to. I feel somewhat disconnected since I am not at home all day anymore, and most of my friends still are. Don't get me wrong, I love my job, and I love more the independence :) and security it has brought our family. The sense of accomplishment we feel everytime one of our hideous "cards" are paid off and cut up is SO awesome! So, we are blessed. I have a great "boss" and friend - and my kids are learning more the value of money and it is all worth it. But, to catch us up... I guess it will take a few posts to share some of my fave pics from the past year :) so bear with me.

This is where I draw the line :)

Ferg and I joke about "his" kids and "my" kids - this pic says it all :) We were posing, and he whispers "let's make a funny face" and I say no- lets just get this done. Obviously, MY kids listened... LOL!

Me... a blogger???

Me ... a blogger?? Not really, but once again peer pressure has pushed me beyond my limits. I have no time to scrapbook lately, and I love reading everyone else's so here goes it. This is us. One of my very favorite pics taken by a great friend and awesome photographer - Thanks again Susan :) This was taken for Emily's baptism almost 2 years ago. Oldie but a goodie. lol...
